Celebrate the “Great American Solar Eclipse” directly in the totality path!
This venue will give you almost the maximum totality time possible (about 2 minutes and 21 seconds)! Martins Creek is an excellent viewing location because it is slightly south of the centerline and while still offering near maximum time of darkness, it is located outside downtown Murphy, NC, where gridlock conditions are expected. We are offering primitive camping sites as well as spaces in our parking lots for campers/trailers/RVs. Spaces will be 30’x30’. This allows enough room for most observers to park their car within the spot and still have room for camping/observing. Cost for BOTH nights, Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20 is only $100. You get both nights for one low price.
